"The staff at Hoertdoerfer Dentistry are Very Friendly, Respectful and always put you at ease. Best experience I have ever had at a dental office. Never have to wait, straight in! Relaxing waiting room, not that I have ever used it :) 10 out of 10!"
"This Dentist office is amazing! I have had the same hygienist for years. I feel extremely comfortable every time i'm in the office. Had to have a crown put on, and was blown away that the entire processes was done in 1 short visit. No discussing mold material in my mouth, no temporary cap, no multiple appointments. State of the art scanning and manufacturing right in the office. Highly recommend Dr. H to anyone"
Hooksett is a town in Merrimack County, New Hampshire, United States. The population was 14,871 at the 2020 census, up from 13,451 at the 2010 census. The town is located between Manchester, the state's largest city, and Concord, the state capital.
This small town went through many name changes and was known as Chester Woods and Rowe's Corner before being called Hooksett. The name may have come from Hook-shaped island in Merrimack River or early fishermen who called the area Hookline Falls. Hooksett is a fun town because it has many nicknames, such as "Isle au Hooksett" and "Isle au Hooksett Falls." Rocky ledges flank the Merrimack River, which runs through, and there were cross-river ferries located here, as well as lumber mills and a brick-making establishment powered by the falls. Hooksett Canal, funded by the lottery in 1794, became part of the transportation facilities in Amoskeag cotton mills (in Manchester) for a time period.
Popular things to do in Hooksett include visiting Bear Brook State Park, McIntyre Ski Area, Charmingfare Farm, Massabesic Lake, Bear Brook, Livingston Park, Goffstown Rail Trail, Toufic H. Kalil House, and the Manchester Cedar Swamp Preserve (TNC).
