COVID 19 Updates

Visit our blog to learn more about dental safety measures during the pandemic.

We are excited to see our patients again!

We are happy to announce that we are reopening our office to treat patients.  We thank you for your support and patience during this unprecedented time.

As you may know, we have always followed the strict infection control guidelines issued by the American Dental Association (ADA), The U.S. Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) to ensure protection for our patients and staff from the many infectious diseases that we are potentially exposed to on a daily basis.

As we begin the process of scheduling appointments and welcoming you back to our office, we will continue to prioritize your health, safety, comfort, sense of security, and of course, your smile. As we move forward, we will adhere to an even higher standard of infectioncontrol because we want you and your family to feel safe and secure when you visit us. Here is what to expect...

Appointment and Scheduling:

We will be reaching out to all patients who have had to reschedule their appointments and to patients who are presently scheduled for the month of June. We will do our best to accommodate everyone. This will take time, as appointments will be managed to allow for social distancing and sanitizing between patients. We will also have dedicated appointment hours for at-risk patients and family friendly scheduling.  We sincerely appreciate your patience as we work through this together.

Patient Experience:

Prior to your appointment, you will be asked to fill out and return a COVID-19 screening questionnaire. We will ask you to reschedule if you have a fever, cough, shortness of breath, any other signs of illness, or if you have recently been in contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19. We will repeat the screening when you arrive for your appointment. Please check-in for your appointment from your vehicle by calling us.  We will use the phone to let you know when your dental room is ready for you. Please wear a mask and use the hand sanitizing station upon entering the office.  Our office staff will be covering their smiles with a mask as well. A contactless forehead temperature check will be taken and you will head directly to your treatment room. Once you are seated, you will be asked to rinse your mouth with hydrogen peroxide prior to treatment.

The Office Experience: Our staff will have daily COVID-19 screening and temperature checks, will wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and have all participated in extensive infectious disease education and training.

Our office will look different as well, as we have introduced new equipment and procedures that both comply with and exceed the updated CDC, ADA and OSHA recommendations. You will begin to see new air purification units, a medical grade HEPA filtration system, new self-contained water filtration systems in each operatory, and advanced chairside high-volume evacuation.  We are also using a hypochlorous acid air fogger in each room after every appointment and throughout the entire office at the end of each day.

While masks cover our smiles, procedures have changed, and our office looks different, one thing hasn’t changed: our unconditional commitment to providing compassionate dental care in a safe environment for you and your family.  Thank you for your trust and cooperation during this time.

We look forward to seeing you very soon.
